Biography

I was born and raised in Aveiro, Portugal, with both Portuguese and English heritage. I completed a Postdoctoral Fellowship at Associação BIOPOLIS | CIBIO-InBIO (Portugal) within the PLACES project. I hold a joint PhD from the University of Aveiro and the University of Lisbon in Biology and Ecology of Global Change, as well as a MSc in Applied Ecology and a BSc in Biology from the University of Aveiro.

Affiliations

Currently independent and between formal appointments, I maintain active international research networks built through prior visiting researcher positions with the Rojas Lab at the Pontificia Universidad Javeriana Cali (Colombia) and the Wiens Lab at the University of Arizona (USA).
